2025 Meeting of the Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee (MAC) of the One Planet Network’s Sustainable Public Procurement Programme

A Meeting of the Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee (MAC) of the One Planet Network’s Sustainable Public Procurement Programme will take place on the 3rd July, 2025 in Paris & Online.

Event Objectives:

• Foster a shared understanding of the SPP programme initiatives and partners’ priorities, identifying opportunities for alignment and mutual reinforcement, including through technical support to Member States for practical implementation.
• Advance agenda setting to position SPP more prominently in global processes (e.g. UNEA-7, COP30, etc.) and explore pathways to integrate it into key international frameworks on sustainable development, financing, and public sector transformation.
• Outline win-win priorities and define meaningful next steps between SPP Programme initiatives, its MAC members, and UNEP to advance a common vision and guide joint action.

Expected Outcome:

• A set of proposed activity areas to strengthen alignment between the partners SPP Programme/UNEP initiatives, including support to Member States, joint efforts to position SPP in key global agendas, and the identification of priority actions and resource needs to elevate the Programme’s impact and strategic direction.
