The One Planet Network’s Consumer Information Programme is excited to announce a new consultancy opportunity: Digitalization and Product Sustainability Information Specialist. This pivotal role will help lead our efforts in developing the Global Framework for Digital Product Information Systems (DPIS) and advancing the broader digitalisation agenda under the Digitalization for Circular Economy (D4CE) Initiative.
Working in close collaboration with UN Environment Programme colleagues and global partners, the selected consultant will contribute to shaping policies and technical guidance that enable better tracking, sharing and use of sustainability data across product life cycles and value chains — from electronics to textiles and beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the development and revision of the Global Framework for DPIS
Coordinating pilot projects and sectoral standards
Facilitating stakeholder consultations and technical meetings
Linking workstreams across critical agendas such as EPR, chemicals, and digital product passports
The 12-month consultancy is remote, with a preference for Paris-based candidates, and begins in September 2025.
