Webinar: Digital Product Information Systems for Sustainability and Circularity
Digital Product Information Systems (DPIS) are emerging as powerful tools for advancing sustainability and circularity through digitalization. With many governments and businesses developing their own DPIS, it is important to discuss harmonization and learn from each other’s best practices.
The D4CE initiative, led by UNEP, is encouraging the exploration of DPIS as a promising approach for sustainable consumption and production through increased transparency along the value chain. This webinar will offer insights into the various DPIS efforts underway across countries and regions. It will also introduce the newly published Blueprint for a Digital Product Information System Global Framework, which marks an initial step towards a shared understanding of potential content and data categories for a universally accepted DPIS framework focused on achieving sustainability and circularity goals.
