International Youth Forum (5th Edition)
The International Youth Forum is a global platform that unites emerging youth leaders civil society actors diplomats UN representatives and policymakers to foster dialogue cooperation and action toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 2025 edition will convene over 400 youth leaders from 90 countries making it one of the most inclusive and diverse gatherings of its kind.
5th International Youth Forum (IYF) 2025 to be held on August 21–22 2025 at the ESCAP Hall United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) Bangkok Thailand.
The International Youth Forum (IYF) plays a vital role in advancing Sustainable Consumption and Production (SDG 12) by empowering youth to become informed advocates and changemakers in promoting responsible lifestyles. Through its sessions, workshops, and innovation showcases, IYF raises awareness on reducing waste, encouraging ethical consumer behavior, and adopting circular economy practices. It serves as a platform for young leaders to present eco-friendly innovations, share best practices, and engage with global stakeholders—including governments, NGOs, and the private sector—to foster sustainable solutions. By equipping participants with knowledge and tools to implement sustainable initiatives in their communities, IYF contributes meaningfully to SDG 12 targets such as efficient resource use, waste reduction, sustainable public procurement, and education for sustainable lifestyles.

Dr. Datchanamoorthy Ramu an eminent youth leader of India and Founder – General Secretary of the International Youth Forum and Sustainable Development Council, who represented India Multiple times in the United Nations Headquarters. He Volunteered with International entities like the United Nations, Commonwealth and etc., for the past few years. He also founded Two National and One International Organization. Dr.Datchanamoorthy Ramu has been Awarded Karmaveer Chakra, Bharat Jothi Award, and several International Awards for his work towards the Empowerment of Youth. Dr. Datchanamoorthy Ramu Pursued his B. Tech from Anna University and Global Diplomacy at the University of London. He was an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society. He is also a Member of Cambridge University for The Center for the Study of Global Human Movement.
