With 18 years of experience in ecolabelling and environmental certification, I help governments, businesses, and international organizations design and implement credible ecolabelling systems and verified green claims — grounded in science, fit for markets, and aligned with global standards.
As ex-Board Member of the Global Ecolabelling Network and leader of Russia’s Type I ecolabelling program Vitality Leaf (ISO 14024, ISO 17065-accredited), I advise on ecolabelling policy, standard development, life cycle-based certification, and consumer information strategies.
Recent projects include:
- Developing Green Schools National Framework and Standards for Kazakhstan in UNICEF (ongoing)
- Designing and delivering national ecolabelling training for the Mongolian government (2025)
- Key expert roles in UNEP’s GO4SDGs program in Europe and Central Asia (2023–2024)
- Consulting for Turkey’s Environmental Label System (2023–2024)
- Member of the UNEP Consumer Information Programme Advisory Committee
- Russian delegate to ISO TC 207 on environmental labelling
I frequently work with major manufacturers, retailers, and policymakers — helping shape credible environmental claims, align ecolabels with corporate sustainability goals, and develop verification and audit systems.
I also created Ecolabel Guide, a UNEP-recommended mobile app for consumers and businesses.
PhD in Biology (molecular & evolutionary biology). Graduate of the Swedish Institute Management Programme on Sustainability Leadership.
Open to consulting opportunities on ecolabelling, environmental claims, and sustainable product certification.
