Manevasoa Christina Boda
Head of the Circular Economy Technical Division
I have 06 years of professional experience in environmental public administration, more specifically in the implementation of international and national policies on waste management, within the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.
- From 2017-2020. I was a research officer in waste management, where I contributed to the development of project proposals, provided technical assistance to private actors in waste disposal operations, and processed administrative files on transboundary movements of hazardous waste, in accordance with the provisions of the Basel Convention.
- Since 2022, in my current role as Head of the Circular Economy Technical Division, I am mainly responsible for providing technical support in the development, evaluation and implementation of national and/or regional policies and projects related to the Circular Economy (CE) in different sectors. I am also responsible for communicating waste management and CE issues through informative presentations.
I have also developed a good knowledge of the circular economy principles and the SCP approach through Continuous Professional Development activities, including the in-person workshop “From Linear to Circular Africa” organized by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in Kigali in 2022, and the UNCC:e-Learn course on SCP in Africa.
