State-of-the-art insights for achieving better policy coherence: what can policymakers do?

This seminar featured a lecture from Professor Rainer Kattel, IIPP Deputy Director, who provided an overview on public sector capabilities; a presentation from Ms Siobhan Kelly, Agribusiness Economist from the Agrifood Systems and Food Safety Division, who emphasized that the 'systems approach' has leveraged previous frameworks such as the sustainable livelihoods and value chains approaches; and presentations from IIPP Master of Public Administration students who presented their research on tools that facilitate policy coherence.
