Pikku-Finlandia

Pikku-Finlandia is a temporary wooden event center to replace Finlandia Hall during its refurbishment. The temporary building is designed and built with modules so it will be disassembled, transported to a new site and built again when the refurbishment is ready. The design uses whole trees - local pines with intact branches - as part of the load-bearing structure.
