Case Study: RLH Properties – Al Rescate Programme (Mexico)
This case study focuses on RLH Properties’ participation in the “Al Rescate” programme, which redistributes surplus food from hotels to vulnerable communities through partnerships with food banks. By combining redistribution with internal waste measurement, sustainable sourcing, and circular waste practices, the initiative addresses both food waste and food insecurity. The programme has delivered significant social impact through thousands of meals redistributed, while also reducing emissions, demonstrating the value of collaborative, community-based approaches in advancing sustainable consumption and production.
