Natural Cosmetics Week

  • Published on December 10, 2024
The objective of the project is to raise awareness and promote the benefits of natural and organic cosmetics. By celebrating Natural Cosmetics Week, we aim to educate consumers on sustainable beauty choices, highlight NATRUE-certified brands, and foster a deeper connection to eco-conscious skincare.
The project supports the shift to Sustainable Consumption and Production by emphasizing the importance of natural, organic, and ethically produced cosmetics. Through initiatives like Natural Cosmetics Week, we encourage consumers to make informed, eco-conscious choices that prioritize the health of both individuals and the planet.

Sustainable consumption is rooted in choosing products that are made with minimal environmental impact, from responsibly sourced ingredients to eco-friendly packaging. By promoting certified cosmetics, the project aligns with the principles of sustainability. NATRUE certification ensures that products meet high standards of organic and natural ingredients, free from harmful chemicals, and produced with respect for the environment. This helps shift consumer behavior toward products that are safer for both human health and the environment.

In addition to highlighting certified products, the project seeks to educate consumers on the broader impacts of their beauty choices, such as reducing waste, and supporting ethical sourcing practices. The project advocates for transparency in the beauty industry, urging brands to disclose the environmental and social footprint of their production processes. This promotes accountability and builds consumer trust, encouraging brands to adopt sustainable practices in their entire value chain.

In essence, the project serves as a platform for raising awareness about the benefits of sustainable beauty products and empowering consumers to make choices that align with their values. By supporting brands that prioritize sustainability, we aim to accelerate the transition to more responsible consumption and production patterns within the beauty industry, promoting a healthier planet for future generations.
