Research and Development National Programmes (2019 – 2023)

The main goal of Research and Development National Programmes (RDNP) is to solve the key problems of society in order to improve the quality of life. RDNP will be implemented in the form of research and development projects.

We expect many outcomes and achievements in shifting to sustainable consumption and production practices through RDNP projects that focus on the following areas (titles of RDNP):

  1. Higher value-added materials and products based on the efficient recovery of domestic raw materials and waste.
  2. Quality of population health and nutrition, development of biotechnology and agriculture, protection and improvement of the environment.
  3. Energy Security of the Slovak Republic with Emphasis on Optimal Multi-source, Energy Efficiency and Environment.
  4. Informatics and ICT for the Information Society.
  5. Social, humanitarian and artistic research supporting the development of society.
